From Consumption to Catastrophe
Flooded McDonald's is a film work by Superflex in which a convincing life-size replica of the interior of a McDonald's, without any customers or staff present, gradually floods with water. Reviews of this film claim many things. It is a commentary on the relationships between global warming, and, or our role as consumers, and, or our growing social unrest, and, or globalization, and, or capitalist imperialism. This film is too loose and too raw to just place one label to describe the purpose of this art piece, and to possibly use it as a tool for some end. So with this film, although it does manifest many different subjects in the mind of the viewer, It generally points you in the right direction (and not like animal rights or the moon). You could say that they've tried to make it as open to interpretation as possible so people can bring their own views into it. So people... what is your interpretation?
This is a short clip of the actual 20 min run time... enjoy...
Total Hammjamm
Holy smokes! Assembled in late 2004, San Francisco’s favorite party band, Still Flyin’ has become a juggernaut in the music world, promoting lighthearted feelings and odes to good times. This reggae-inspired project's debut album, Never Gonna Touch The Ground represents a reggae-indie-rock pedigree. The first single of that LP was titled a "Good Thing its a Ghost Town Around Here". The video isn't the best, but the song is great.Besides their token reggae-party default setting, Still Flyin’ is equally skilled at the slo-jams, high energy thunder-jams, and the catchy world-pop of their second single, "The Hott Chord is Struck".

Yo! stop snitchin'!!

Andy Samberg and his comedy group, The Lonely Island, are back with another hilarious record and recruited T-Pain for some background vocals and a verse. I wouldn’t go as far to say “I’m On A Boat” is on the level of the instant classic “Jizz In My Pants” or "Dick in a Box", but Blizzy-B certainly spits the hot fire.
Boner... I mean Bonus... track

Cut///Copy
So, like, I'm always looking for great music. Something upbeat and energetic is always nice. Thanks to my friend Drew we've got a winner. Cut///Copy is a band from Melbourne, Australia, Their sound, often labeled as indie dance and/or electropop, seems to drawing influence from 80s new wave and post-punk genres. In 2008 they released a DJ mix that you can get here, titled So Cosmic Mixtape. Their most recent album In Ghost Colours is full of positive, uptempo melodies. Get it. Got it? Nice. Enjoy...
