Silence like the wind over takes me...

With a tabletop full of eclectic gizmos, a sine wave generator, a makeshift light board, and a green skull strobe light, Deacon mixes dance anthems, intricate instrumentals, and humorous monologues to create an all-out dance-til-you-drop experience.

Most of the pieces composed by Dan Deacon are instrumentals or sound collages. However Spiderman of the Rings was Deacon's first commercially distributed full length album, released in May 2007.

Dan Deacon is famed for his live shows. Shunning the stage, Deacon performs from within the audience, his musical devices being set up on a low table, and surrounded by the crowd. His live performances involve constant audience participation, often requiring the attendees to perform physical tasks and games as a whole during the songs, like opening a big circle and ask two people to dance in it.

Sweet...
