The Lips and GZA are working together. This odd pairing got its start onstage at the SXSW fest this year but now the two are teaming up in the studio where GZA lays down a guest verse on their recent album's single, "Drop I Hold".
"[It's a] bad idea," the Lips' Jared Swilley tells Spinner of rap/rock combos. "It's led to some of the worst music of all-time. It can be done tastefully, but there is a very fine line to be tread."
