Pitchfork Music Fest 2009: update

The lineup for this summer's Pitchfork Music Festival, going down in Union Park July 17-19 by way of Chicago, was already looking pretty great, but the addition of the Flaming Lips puts it over the top. Let the games begin! Tickets are now on sale for the fourth annual Pitchfork Music Festival, As usual, there are three different ticketing options available:

Three day pass for July 17-19: $75.00
Two day pass for July 18-19: $60.00
One day pass for July 17, 18, or 19: $35.00

a couple weeks ago they announced the initial lineup for the music fest, featuring a new series kicking off Friday night, July 17, called "Write the Night: Set Lists by Request". You, the audience, vote on which songs all four bands-- Built to Spill, the Jesus Lizard, Yo La Tengo, and Tortoise-- will play.
